1d Black (RA) Plate 1a used on cover from Bromley-July 23-184 (Provincial full circletype on reverse)-  Stamp with 4 good margins -cover uncreased

1d Black (SF) Plate 1b used on cover from Wantage July 21st 1840.  Stamp with 4 good to wide margins cancelled by a bright carmine Red MX.   Cover has a faint central vert crease -otherwise fine  good appearance and quite a small neat size--  £225  SOLD

1d Black (BL) Plate 1b used on entire - has Dingwall Oct 3-1840 town CDS on reverse + shows light  on front STRATH/PEFFER. Cover with very small tear at base but otherwise fine and uncreade- Stamp with 4 clear to very good margins -well tied by Red MX which leaves profile clear--  £215   SOLD
